Deadbolt models are manually relocking;
deadlatch models automatically relock each time the door closes.
The streamlined housing with integrated pull makes this lock ideal for front and rear doors, garages, conference rooms, offices, garden cabanas, utility rooms and workshops ... it may be mounted above your existing lockset, or can be used alone.
